400 m3 of crushed drums are stored in the surface mine Fanay B. The drums were taken to Bouchet in 1971 and had contained uranothorianite. According to Cogéma [91a] and Andra [99], their activity is less than 0.01 TBq.

At the commune of Saint-Sylvestre springs disappeared because of the exploitation of the mines [Clavaud 80].

Andra writes that remediation was completed in 1997 [Andra 00].
